If you are making videos that you are putting online, then you want people to watch them. When you upload videos to Youtube, sometimes it’s hard to get hundreds or thousands of views. There are some things that you can do that will help you get more views on the videos that you upload to YouTube.

First of all, think of a creative title. Use this space to explain your video and have a creative name that people might want to click on. Sometimes this alone gets thousands more views than a boring title.

Be sure that your thumbnail image is interesting and clear. It has to be something that people are going to notice and want to click on. Generally this is the middle picture from your video. You can actually add an image here to change what shows on the thumbnail.

Make sure that you use the description box. When people are searching on YouTube or even Google for videos, they are looking for certain phrases. If you have these words in your description, it’s more likely that your video will be found and seen.

Also use your tag section this way as well. Put as many tags as you can into this section as long as they are still related. Think of different ways of saying the same thing to get more tags.

Make a video response to a popular related video. If this related video is getting hundreds of views per day, you will pick up views as people click on the video responses.

Build up your subscribers to your channel. As you gradually get more subscribers, you will also have more views on every video that you upload.

Make content that people are actually going to enjoy watching. If what you offer isn’t that great, people aren’t going to watch what you upload. You can see if people are watching your entire video or only the first few seconds. If people aren’t finishing your videos, they really don’t like them.
