Most bloggers think that they should be writing on weekends, after all this is when people are off work and at home on their computers right? Wrong. The fact is that there is more traffic on the internet on weekdays rather than weekends. The busiest traffic day is on Monday and it gradually reduces as the week wears on. Weekends are actually the slowest time of the week as people are out and about running errands that they did not have time for during the work week. They are also spending time with family and friends which can leave little time for the internet.

Since Monday is the busiest day of the week, save your most compelling posts for this day. This way the repeat readers are going to come back to read your posts for the rest of the week.
Post as early in the morning as possible. Have your ideas ready on Sunday night and post first thing in the morning on weekdays. Most people read blogs while at work and most work days start early in the morning. This is going to give those who are reading your posts a fresh one first thing on Monday morning.

Those who do not post daily should at least put up a fresh post each Monday. This post should be intriguing and should compel the reader to come back the rest of the week.
