b. Research: You can find the keywords from local library, trade newspapers, magazines related to your niche. You can subscribe to these resources and find out the “buzz” in your industry.

c. Forums: Join forums, discussion groups related to your industry and see what people are talking about.

d. Tools: Another way of finding keywords is by using tools like Google keyword suggestion tool. Go to these tool, type in your niche like “dog products”. You will find all keywords related to “dog products”.

3. Search Count: Now that you have a list of keywords, let us find out the daily search count of these keywords. After all, you do not want to optimize your site for keywords that drive very less traffic to your site. To find the search count, you can use tools like Google keyword suggestion tool and AdWords.

When you type in the keyword in this tool, you can find the “Global monthly volume search” and “Local monthly volume search” from which you can estimate the daily search count of your keywords.

TIP: Choose the keywords having a minimum daily search count of 50.
