Those of us that want to make a living using our websites try all sorts of things to get web traffic. We tried forum posting, pay per click advertising, article marketing, backlinks, blogging… the list is almost endless. I tried them all with limited success until I found the best way to be on the first page of Google.

Some of those techniques help and some are a complete waste of time. You might be saying “I have 2000 posts on XYZ forum with my signature link and it’s not effective?” It is very possible that is nothing more that internet spam and will not help you get on the first page of Google.

What about PPC? That will drive visitors if done properly but has little to nothing to do with your page rank on Google.

Blogging? Blog your brains out, if nobody sees it and if it has no page rank unto itself, you’re doing nothing but blowing a lot of hot air.

Article Marketing? A good short term solution but do you want to just sit around all day and think what to write? That’s tough to do for a lot of people.

So backlinks are a waste too, huh? Most of them are but the right ones will have you on page one in Google if done properly. You see, Google likes it if you are tied in to the right people… something like birds of a feather flock together.

Get backlinks to your site from highly ranked sites and you will be on the first page of Google raking in all that targeted traffic. It’s really that simple and easy to do… it may take you some time but you’ll have permanent links from highly valued sites and your site will be on the first page of Google.
