Do you know how to get easy web traffic? For that matter any traffic at all. A lot of newbies and even some seasoned veterans allow themselves to be far too intimidated by the task of generating targeted traffic to their websites. Have no fear; all you need to do is follow the steps below and you will see your traffic explode.
1. Everything is connected: This is a key point, the Internet consist of million of Web servers. Although they are not all linked to each other directly, they are all linked within their own mini nets.
2. It’s all about links: Building on point number one, it is extremely important to understand that it is all about links. In order for someone to find your site, they need to hear it, see it, or write it down then type it into the URL; or they can click your hyperlink from another site. So, as you can see it is extremely important to get your URL on as many other web sites as possible. 3. Every Market is going to have a “Minihub”: A minihub is like a community/forum where like-minded interest intermingle. This is a great place to get free traffic to your site. You need to keep in mind that you should create real value to the forum before you start to deliberately solicit business with your links. Your goal should be to prove you are an expert in your niche, answer questions, and help other members out. By building your reputation in the forum you will be solidifying your role as an expert and at the same time be able to create backlinks to drive target traffic to your website.
4. Pay-per-click: Pay-per-click is by far the quickest and easiest way to get target traffic to your website. It is exactly that, pay-for-results. If you want to be seen at the top of the search engine, all you need to do is bid the highest for the keywords that describe your site/product/business. This will create an immediate rush of traffic to your site.
It must be pointed out that there is a difference between long-term and short-term traffic. The traffic you wish to target is long-term. This does however take some time to build. It must be created with links. However, the beauty of long-term traffic is, exactly that, it’s long term. Articles are a great example of long-term traffic. Once posted an article remains on the web indefinitely. Pay-per-click advertising is an example of short-term traffic. Once you have spent your budget your add ceases to run. Thus eliminating any traffic from this source.
