Director submission is really important if you want to increase your back links. However, as there are lots of spams submissions to the directories, directory owners take extra care to evaluate the links that are submitted. But what could you do to get accepted by the directories? Here there are few guidelines that would help you to get accepted by the directories that you submit your site:

Write titles and descriptions that provide information about your site. Don’t just include keywords in your description. Just describe your site within two sentences. Title should also be short and descriptive.

Submit your site only once to a directory. If you keep submitting the same URL again and again, the owner of the directory will more likely to reject your site.

Always choose the right category. Many directories don’t allow you to submit to top categories. They will delete your site without even reading or reviewing it. So, choose the right sub category and submit your site there.

If you can, give them a link back. Many directory owners will appreciate, if you link back to their directory. It doesn’t have to be from the same URL that you submitted.

Make sure the language of your site supports the requirements of the directory that you submit. Many directories accept sites that are in English. So make sure to read what languages the directory accepts.

Always read the directories terms and conditions for the submissions. The terms and conditions of the submissions are usually found in submit page of the directory.
